Visiting Cafe Rats Rattery
Visiting Cafe Rats Rattery
We are more than happy to have visitors to the rattery! Whether it's to pick out your new friend, or to just to kick up your feet after work and play with some rats for a bit, Café Rats is happy to welcome you into our facility. We know the keeping of exotic pets isn't for everyone, no matter how much you enjoy the companionship of rats and other exotic animals.
Visits are by appointment only!
Cafe Rats Rattery is a run-from-home business. Not only does one of us need to be present to let you in and provide you service, but we also need to make sure that we're available for the appointment time you're looking to book!
With the purchase of two rats, we offer a complimentary 1 hr long visit. There's no need to stay for the entire visit, but we want to give you ample time to pick out your new friends! :)
If you're visiting just for the joy of doing so, we offer appointments for 15 min, 30min, and 1hr. Our rate is $8 per 15 minutes. This is still rural Indiana, so if we get you talking past when you were set to leave, we obviously won't charge you for that.
Which Rats Can I Hang Out With When I Get There?
You are welcome to handle any of our rats during your time here, as long as they're older than 3 weeks! Many of our rats really enjoy the opportunity to meet new people, so there's no reason to make people choose a single rat to hang out with for their entire visit with the Rattery.
